In many areas the West London School of Beauty Diploma will enable you to open your own beauty salon BUT in cities, particularly London, your local council may require you to hold an NVQ/VTCT qualification in order to issue you with a Special Treatments Licence.
The Level 2 qualification is similar to a GCSE at A*-C, Key Skills 2, GNVQ Intermediate and Functional Skills 2.
